Hi tweeters,

I read some stuff recently about _Meleagris gallopavo silvestris_, uh sorry
Wild Turkey, saying that some cases of parthenogenesis have been witnessed
in this species. It seems quite incredible to me ...

Do some tweeters know more about this, or know other bird species subject
to the same process ?

As an aside, could someone tell me if (and if yes, where) WITU can
be seen in SW BC (no, it is not Single Winged Barred Cuckoo :-) or
NW Washington ?

Thanks
