Serge,

There seems to be quite a little flock of Turkeys (the wild ones, anyway) at
English Camp, San Juan Island. Skylarks at American Camp. I don't know
where one would find 'wilder' WITUs in NW Wash State.

The English seem to have had the best harbor back in the 1840s, but I'd
rather hear the Skylarks any time (if I *have* to bird on the
'exotics'..). Do any Tweeters have a sense of when Turkeys were
introduced to San Juan Is?
