There is a Checklist of Washington State birds available on the WOS home
page. This list has both the common names + the four letter codes. You
could obtain this list using the Web browser called lynx available from
most unix machines. If you can't obtain it this way I would be happy to
forward a copy to you and anyone else that requests it. Please reply
directly to me if you want me to send you a copy.
