I've always thought poisoned weeds were really ugly. You see roadsides
along which seedling shrubs and trees have been poisoned, and it
immediately makes me want to protest to someone. Maybe such adverse PR
could be mentioned?

I guess it would behoove anyone with this interest to find out what
herbicides are being used and if there is any evidence that they affect
anything besides target species.
