For another King County contribution, I saw (I sure didn't *have* it, my
tastes run in other directions!) a Turkey Vulture floating lazily over a
clearcut at the main road junction just south of Sugarloaf Mountain on 25
June. I wouldn't be surprised at breeding in the county by this species,
which I think is getting more common all the time. I saw 26 of them in one
thermally rising flock at Easton a couple of weeks ago.
