If any of you tweeters like flowers (I can't imagine that you wouldn't),
this last weekend (24 June) the meadows and woods along the road between
Salmon La Sac and Tucquala Lake (DeLorme Atlas p. 65 A8 and p. 81 D8)
provided the most floriferous show I've ever had in Washington. I'm sure
it will still be great for a few more weeks. Imagine a field awash with
the various blues and purples of camas, lupine, larkspur, and monkshood.
You gotta see it to believe it. There are even birds up there.
