I'm not so sure about that Blackman Lake Emperor Goose being an escape.
Before I read the posting about that one, I was ready to add it to Burt's
list. I'm able to sympathize to a small degree because I looked for that
goose twice without finding it. If I remember correctly, after I failed
to find it on two separate trips on successive days during a visit to
the Seattle area in November 1993, this despite finding a nice flock of
Canadas on one of the trips, the one bird suddenly became two. How's that
for a conspiracy?
