The Jan-Feb 1995 issue of Audubon magazine has an insert "Your Guide
to the National Audubon Society". It's brief, but nicely done,
and contains:

"If you have any questions, please call our general information
number, 212-979-3000, or contact us through our Internet
address: info at audubon.org"
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

We'd discussed the need for bulletin boards, email access, discussion
lists, supported by the various organizations such as NAS, Sierra Club
and The Nature Conservancy.

It's nice to see that headway is being made by these several orgs, in
this case, a place to ask NAS questions in private (I don't know if this
address is new, but I hadn't seen it before).
