The adult SLATY-BACKED GULL was relocated in a large standing roost of
Glaucous-winged Gulls at 11.30 PST on Saturday, Mar 04, in a field
alongside 96th St. in S Delta, S of the Hwy 99--Hwy 17 interchange. Also in
the flock was a basic-plumaged GLAUCOUS GULL.

The Slaty-backed Gull is by now moving well into pre-alternate molt, but
still has a good deal of streaking on the nape and smudging around the eye,
according to the observer, Steve Mlodinyo.
