I find this a very interesting comment considering the fact that in October,
three major timber companies (Weyerhaeuser, Louisiana Pacific, and Willamette
Industries) reported "huge gains in profits" over the same quarter from last
year. This is according to the Portland AP. The timber companies appear to have
no interest in lowering timber prices.
