Of no use to us for the next 2 1/2 years?

During the next 2.5 years, don't you think that they would be of greater
use to us if they were left in the forest to decompose? They would
provide nutrients and habitat for the forest. This seems to be a better
use than exporting the logs or cutting them into boards for more housing
projects.

Emergency? Wow, that guy Dicks is a real hero.

Seems to me that removing these logs would not be protecting the forest
health. They act like all these logs will spontaneously explode causing
horrendous destruction.

Fires are essential to the forest's natural cycle of succession.
Right?

He says ``It is clear in my mind and all the experts say this, if we do
not get rid of these.......''
Isn't it amazing that he checked with all the experts and they all
studied this and they all came to this conclusion and all were in
agreement on this? Can't this guy be fired for lying?

Well of course they do. The same way gas stations support Exxon's
questionable actions in the name of oil and money.

Regret? A few sentences back, he was stating that this was not only
necessary, but absolutely beneficial to everybody -- a win-win
situation. So why would he regret anything if it is so great?

He really doesn't care about the people and the forest
It all boils down to money and power doesn't it?

Money - the handmaiden of power.
