RESEARCH ASSISTANTS - BIRD CENSUSING (4 new positions).

1 May-30 July.

To conduct bird surveys (point-count or band transect) in
forests of NE Washington (Selkirk Mountains). Ability to
aurally and visually identify bird species of the Pacific
Northwest essential. Must be able to work independently and
as part of a team. Potential to work on surveys of other
vertebrate groups.

Ample opportunities to bird in other parts of the Pacific Northwest.

Salary $1,320/mo. No income tax in Washington. Housing and
most board provided.
