There is also an active bald eagle nest in West Seattle. Look west and up
from Salty's parking lot and there it is in a tree in the greenspace.
Apparently, the land right next to the nest is owned by Metro but for sale. A
developer named Hoy is looking into developing condos on the site. Does
anyone know if the next is protected in any way? These eagles have been
hanging around this area for a few years, but this is the first year they've
