These last two Bald Eagles nests (ie. Arboretum & W. Seattle) are very
new, the West Seattle site was first prospected last year I believe and I
think the Arboretum nest site is a first for that location. There is an
explosion of Bald Eagle nesting underway in the Seattle area. There were
just three nests in all of King County that I could verify in 1982.
There could be a dozen or more now.
