While spying the resplendant Golden Eagle described by Russell Rogers, we
felt confident that only adults obtain the golden nape plumage. However,
after returning home, sleeping for the required twelve hours after a Sage
Lek trip, I looked up in Clark & Wheeler to see that Goldens have light
nape feathers "in all plumages". Is this true? What do y'all in
tweeterland think?
