A few years ago their were 3 confirmed dens in Washington:1) Paysayten
Wilderness 2) North Cascades Natl. Park near Ross Lake up toward the Canadian
Border, and 3) on the cascade crest between The Wenatchee Natl Forest and Mt
Baker/Snoqualmie Natl Forest. I have heard of sightings around Cascade Pass,
and some positive track ID in some other locations and some rumors of sightings
in the cascades south of Chinook pass.
