Yes, they cut it into chunks, shrink-wrapped it (sort of), and towed it by
barge part way, trucks the rest, I believe. (Or was it rail, partway? Oh well.)

Air & Space magazine had a wonderful article on it, I highly reccomend looking
up back copies of the magazine and reading the article. Wonderful pictures,
too!
