Bryan, a few BLSW records I have been able to extract quickly from my pile
of field cards.

2 on Tatoosh Island, 9-10 Jun 1971; matches your migration pattern.
2 at Mukkaw Bay, 25-26 Jul 1970; thus they must breed in the area.
30 at Cape Flattery, 2-3 Aug1969; also presumably breeding.

60 at Mt. Constitution, Orcas Island, 25 Jun 1976, 30 there, 26 Jun; seems
a bit late for migrants.
2 on San Juan Island, 3-5 Jul 1981, seem to indicate breeding somewhere out
there.

I would say they probably breed in both areas, although, obviously,
confirmation is needed.
