Ah, this reminds me of a question I've had for a few months:

What gulls fly at night?

During this past holiday season Melissa and I noticed quite a number of
gulls flying in various areas between 10:00 PM and 2:00 AM. Since then we
have kept an eye out while driving at night and have found this to be
regular behavior.

Is this a particular species or do all gulls fly at night?
