Clark Blake's House Wren is amazingly early. Hope it is confirmed. We here
on S Vanc, Is. have had one confirmed record for the 2nd week of
April, occasional stragglers through the rest of April and usually a good
movement by May 1.

Cliff Swallows have appeared here in the last week of March, but are rare
until mid April. N. Rough-wingeds have appeared in the 2nd week of March and
almost always by mid March.

These dates may be of interest when one considers that Victoria is at the
same latitude as Mt Vernon, WA.
