Since there have been a few posts regarding redtail sighting, and
musing about migrants vs. residents and the like, thought you might
be interested to know that a few days ago 600+ birds were observed
at Cape Flattery, apparently about 500 of those being redtails and
the vast majority of those adults.

Means that at least 1,000 birds have been observed thus far, and it
isn't even April, yet. This is a bit early, though our recent fine
weather is probably a contributing factor. This is the second year
in a row that big numbers have been seen a week or so earlier than
expected.
