A friend of mine is an attorney and told me of a case made against a indoor
firing range where the ventilation was inadequate and some individuals were
suffering from lead poisoning. They spent a lot of time shooting at the range
and subsequently were poisoned from all the lead in the air. That could explain
the mentality (or lack of it) from some gun enthusiasts. :-)

(To avoid potential flames about this comment- I own a few guns but shoot only
rarely. I'd rather shoot a hand-made bow and arrow.)
