Saturday May 13th is the third annual Migratory Bird Day. To help celebrate
the occassion the Woodland Park Zoo has put together a celebration which
includes keepr talks about cranes, demonstrations at the Raptor Education
Center and exhibits by the Nture Conservancy, The Falcon Research Group,
Partners in Flight(Aves de las Americas), the Native Plant Society and
Department of Wildlife Backyard Santuraries Program.

On additional attraction is an early morning(7 am) bird walk conducted by
WPZS staff and volunteers followed by a continental breakfast(muffin, juice,
fruit and coffee) in the Rain Forest Cafe. Bird walks will be led by SAS
notables Eric Kowalczyk, Julie Krick and others. A WPZG bird list compliled
by Gary Mozel will be available.

The charge is $10 and includes zoo admission for the day, breakfast, the
guided bird walk and a donation to Partners in Flight. Advanced reservations
