This story will be redundant to those readers of the
previous gull_eats_birds thread, but It seems appropriate
to repeat it.

Two gull predation stories:

1. A man feeding ducks at Green lake described to me a time when
a gull (presumably Glauc-winged) among the feeding-frenzied
denizens became impatient and grabbed a House Sparrow, swallowing
it whole.

2. A Scottish friend told of Greater black-backed Gulls along the
north Scottish coast taking puffins on the wing, also swallowing
them whole.
