Could someone advise me on the most reliable method(s) for
distinguishing Black vs Vaux's swift. I saw some swifts
again this morning on my walk and I'm not satisfied that
I can accurately determine which kind I'm seeing. I think
I saw Black swifts this morning but the gray skies can play
tricks with the lighting so I don't trust this ID.
