That's right, the ban on DDT and the ESA are pretty much unrelated
legislatively. We're not out of the woods on either one, however. DDT is
still manufactured and used worldwide, residual DDE is still found in US
waters and other estrogen-simulating chemicals are being manufactured and
spilled in the US and worldwide.
