Anna,
Some Birds of prey in the Yakima River Cyn have fledged or are close (Great
Horned Owl, Red-tailed Hawk). Prairie Falcons should be close to fledging.
Golden Eagles are still a long ways off. It should be okay still. At any rate,
there would be lots of interesting migrants and summer visitors about the
riparian zone (Umptanum Creek) or on the cliffs. By the way, did you inquire
with me on the Meadows area, re: Boreal Owls a few months back? I went and
copied all my write-ups but in the weeks it took me to do that I lost your or
whomevers address! Forgive, please, I will send it - hoping its not too late -
if I know who you are!
