The only 'definitive' resource I'm aware of for nesting seabirds at
Protection Island is the Catalog of Washington Seabird Colonies by Steve
Speich and Terry Wahl. US Fish & Wildlife Service/Minerals Management
Service Biological Report 88(6), August, 1989.
I don't know about this year. Contact Ulrich Wilson, USFWS up in
Sequim. The Nisqually NWR folks at 360-753-9467 can give you his phone
number.
