A small flock of innocuous looking Glaucous-winged Gulls between
Scarpelli Hall and the Library on the Clark Campus parted to reveal an
adult Thayer's Gull about 25 minutes ago. The birds have since scattered
unfortunately. Crows were crowing and juncos junking as well. A few
other birds flying around had more of a California/Ring-billed
silhouette.
BTW, new yard bird this morning, Golden-crowned Kinglet. Getting
quite the nice list for only being there for six weeks. The merlin the
other day still tops it the list though.
