I think it's great how administrators in this state support activities such
as the Christmas Bird Count. The Ephrata office of the Dept. of Wildlife
turns how all their employees, including the clerical staff, and allows
them to use state trucks on the Moses Lake count.

Have to admit I was a little envious. I'm also a state employee, but I had
to sign out for a day of annual leave to ride around in a state truck with
a state employee that was being paid for the day.
