Yes, another backrow lurcker plunging in. Thanks for all
the encouraging words.

The November issue of Smithsonian magazine has an article about a banded
red-tailed hawk nesting in Manhattan. To say more would ruin a good
*mystery bird* story. The magazine is available at their Web site,
http://www.si.edu, but the Nov. issue isn't posted yet.
