We frequently bird along Bethel Ridge Road (Forest Road 1500) that runs
between Rts 12 and 410 in Yakima County. We see WHWO fairly regularly at an
area with a pond/beaver dam approx. 17.4 miles from Rt 12. and along Forest
Road 1503 (Little Rattlesanke). One reliable location on forest road 1503
is at another pond (about 6 miles from Jct with Bethel Ridge Rd).
