I know nothing about this incident - but I would caution readers that many
of the so-called "ESA horror stories" made much of by anti-environmental
conservatives have turned out, on investigation, to be either untrue or
drastically different from the way they were reported. This incident sounds
so ridiculous that I have suspicions about whether it really happened that way.
