Two _moffitti_ type Canada Geese at the Montlake Fill this morning (Nov.
12) had neck bands with the following numbers: 042J and 064T. Please
pass this along if you know who might be interested.

In blustery weather there were ca. 2000 waterfowl on Union Bay (and me
without my scope), over 50% coots plus many wigeons, gadwalls, etc.
Stuarts feeding station hosted about 20 emberizids, including half-dozen
or so each of White-crowned (gambelii), some singing sporadically, mostly
immature; Golden-crowned, some also singing; Lincoln's; and a couple of
Fox Sparrows of the expected nw coastal type. No Savannahs seen. Also
about were an American Pipit or two and a goodly flock of mostly American
Goldfinches with some Pine Siskins in the mix. Other observers noted a
N. Shrike, a Cooper's Hawk, and a Short-eared Owl (driven off by crows).
