I don't know who made that quote - but I don't believe that bringing
condors in from the wild equates to "condoricide". A more accurate
metaphor may be protective custody, the need for which is often debated
by those subjected to it and perhaps for reasons not dissimilar to
the issues involved in the condor decision.
