The WHOOPER SWAN arrived today (14 November) at Summer
Lake. It was seen on the viewing pond across from the refuge
headquarters (where it was initially seen last year). The bird is
reported by Marty St. Louis, the refuge manager.

Last year (presumably) this bird arrived on 7 November and
remained until 3 December. Summer Lake is located along Hwy
31 in Lake County about 100 miles south of Bend, OR.
