rI observed a nice Red-throated Loon in the closed portion of Saddle Mtn NWR 12
November, in shallows along the Columbia River several miles sw of the White
Bluffs in southernmost Grant County. My first for the Columbia (I have 4
records for Rt Loons on slackwaters of Priest Rapids).
On 11 November, there was a lone Pacific Loon side by side with a Common Loon
on Priest Rpids in Yakima Cty. Nice study.
