Just a note to those interested:

If you haven't checked out Stan Sayres park in the winter, you're missing
out. It's on Lake Washington Blvd south of I-90. A good little trip is
to bird the lake shoreline from the ML Fill to Seward Park, this spot is
in the middle. Anyway today there were the following quackers:

Mallard
American Wigeon
Eurasian Wigeon
Gadwall
Bufflehead
Common Goldeneye
Canvasback
Lesser Scaup

plus RN Grebe, Western Grebe, PB Grebe, Bald Eagle, Coots
When winds pick up on the lake, many more critters come in to this small bay.

So, despite the apparently fowl nature of this park, a visit here will
ensure that your trip is just ducky! (I know, I know, I must be a quack)
