Just to reiterate, yes, save all specimens! Let the museum decide what
to do with the specimen. When I was doing prep work at the Burke Museum
in the early 80s, they didn't have a single opossum skin!
Yes, with all those road kills, no one had bothered to bring any in. The
one I found in Richmond Beach was the first for the collection.

Musuems are interested in a number of specimens for each species,
representing all age classes, dates, and locations.
