Hi there,

well, this Get Together was very nice and a big round of applause to
Mike Waller who hosted the party and offered us a big treat with the
Gyrfalcon!

That was nice to see the face of some of the Tweeters (I thought there
would have been more of them though).

Also, thanks to Eileen, who had to cope with me after the Get Together,
I was able to go to Montlake Fill, and see the considerable work that
has been done "down there."
That's nice to see "for real" an area that is *very* often referred to on
Tweeters. The work done with the Loosestrife is really impressive: you
can see piles of dried out Loosestrife(well, as dried out as it can be
in Seattle :-) all around the pond and it gives you an idea of the energy
spent on this clearing.

Also, thanks to Fred Bird for his map of Spencer Island. I was able to stop
there on my way "back north," but I missed the Bittern though...

All in all, a nice week-end.
Looking forward to the next "event"...
