Agreed. Beautiful paintings. Lent said book to a friend here in town
to take to Italy with her so she could ID all those strange ancestral
birds. Her synopsis: useless as a field guide. Apparently, she was not
able to translate the pictures into anything useful in regards to ID
challenges. Different strokes for different folks.
