The Fill was crawling with birds last evening:

Hundreds of American robins - mostly feeding and bathing around the cleared
shoreline. These birds are roostin gover on a small island on the other side
of 520 from Foster Island. I checked through them for Siberian thrushes but no
success. There are big number of birds so there is a reasonable chance of
finding something interesting - check it out.

4 northern flickers
2-3 yellow-rumped warblers
20+ white-crowned sparrows
5-10 golden-crowned sparrows
2-3 Lincoln's sparrow
15 Californian quail

I put a load of seed down last Friday and again today. I'm sure that will
last only a couple of days.

BTW the seed faeries visited the house again yesterday. Thanks very, very
much. I have about 100 lbs down in the basement but every little helps.
Certainly will keep the quail happy for a few more days ;-)

See ya,

Stuart
