The bakery in Cle Elum, on the left past the town center, is a long-time
favorite with birding groups. It opens at 8 on Saturday, unfortunately
closed on Sunday.
You can tell the hardest-core birders because they don't stop at bakeries,
bathrooms, or burger bars. Birding uber alles! I should add that we don't
seem to have many of the hard-core type in Cascadia.
