Subject: What's arriving at Des Moines Marina

Tweets,

About 7 green winged-teal (these are shy, wary birds compared to the
resident hoards of greedy mallards) appeared on the beach at Des
Moines Park, Saturday, Sept 30, amongst the hundreds of wintering wigeons.
I don't recall any teal sp over-wintering at the Des Moines Marina last
season. Has anyone else noticed teal wintering patterns in the south,
central Puget Sound beach areas?

Thanks,
