It was on the road heading south from Oak Island (farms on the east side, a
row of trees to the west of the road) - now that Dennis mentions it, there
weren't really many conifers to speak of, though there were a few near our
B&B. At the exact spot we saw the Steller's Jay, I think they were still
deciduous trees. - Teresa
