Maureen,

My father-in-law's place is at the beach about 1/2 mile north of Three
Tree Point (Pt Pully on the old charts) in Burien-Seahurst. Last year
there were a half-dozen Green-wings feeding on the beach with the
Mallards and Wigeon for several days around Christmastime. I thought it
unusual, but not terribly so, as I was seeing hundreds each day on the
Nisqually flats. It's more common to see Black Brant on that beach than
teal.
