On 9/30 saw several groups of Turkey Vultures along I-5. First group was
just south of Fort Lewis, 6-7 TV's. Second was near Cowlitz Prairie with
3 within sight followed by soaring Red Tail Hawks (3). And I
was excited seeing that many, I would have been a basket case if I saw
the numbers observed in the Seattle area. With all the Peregrine Falcon
sightings and TV's I don't think I'll go out of town anymore to try out
my new scope. I might miss something right here. Patty
