I don't think so. Last year, which by all reports was a year of
good reproductive success, saw 49 of 50 sharpshinned hawks observed
on about the 7th of October to be adult. I think that, for whatever
reason, this route is more appealing to adults (besides these one-day
blips in the data we're discussing is also the fact that the peak
date of passage is later than in, say, the Goshutes - and adults
leave after kids).

Three broad-wings, that's hot!
