Following up on the suggestion that birders let business establishments know

that we visit their areas because of the bird life - I know that Black Hills

Audubon has business cards printed up that say:
"Audubon means business!

We are in your community to see birds and other wildlife. Please speak out
and help protect and preserve natural areas and our environment.

Thank you. We hope you appreciate our business and the revenues generated
by ecotourism."

Tahoma Audubon has a similar message on a business card. I always try to
pass the word along when I'm spending money in conjunction with a birding
trip, which seems to be a part of all of my travels.
