Woodpeckers west of Lyle?

By the way, in the August 1995 "Sandpiper," newsletter of Grays Harbor Audubon,
the Birds Sightings Column gives another Klickitat County report in 1995. David
Beatty reports two Acorn Woodpeckers a short distance up Pine Creek from the
Goldendale/Bickleton Hwy (DeLorme p. 27, A-6). He observed 2 birds on 18 June.
Habitat there is mainly ponderosa pine with scattered Garry oaks.
